The item's condition

When you create an ad for an item in the Reshopper app, you can choose between 4 categories to describe the item's condition. We also recommend that you elaborate in the description and describe the item as well as any flaws, stains, etc. there may be. This improves matched expectations right from the beginning of a sale.

The 4 conditions:

  • Faulty, can be fixed: The item is defective, but it can be repaired. Defects should be described both in the text description as well as with pictures of the defects.
  • Used, but fine: Wear, stains, scratches, loss of color, or odor can occur. In this case, this should be described both in the text description as well as with pictures of the defects.
  • As good as new: No wear, stains, or scratches. No signs of use on soles on shoes.
  • Brand new (unused): The item has never been used or washed, and it will often contain the original price tag or the original packaging.

Always make sure to be transparent and honest when posting a new item to ensure a good experience for both you and the buyer.
