Private pickup

When arranging a private pickup, there are two ways the seller and buyer can handle payment during the exchange:

  • Without Buyer Protection: In this case, the seller and buyer must manage the payment themselves and agree on whether the payment will be made in cash, via bank transfer, or through another payment service.
  • With Buyer Protection: You can use Reshopper’s secure trading system, which offers buyer protection in case any issues arise with your purchase.

Additionally, the buyer and seller must coordinate the details of where and when the package will be exchanged. Adhere to the agreements you make and be sure to inform each other of any changes, such as the time of visit.

Important!

We recommend using Reshopper’s trading system. If payment is made outside of Reshopper’s trading system, you must agree on the payment method yourselves and you will not be protected in case of issues like fraud.

Pickup Advice

Make sure to check that the item meets your expectations when you pick it up so you don’t regret the purchase later. Items are generally considered “bought as seen,” and there is only a right to complain if the buyer and seller agree to it. Always get the agreement in writing.

If you get home and find that the item is in a different condition than described and the transaction is protected by Reshopper’s Buyer Protection, you should first contact the seller to try to resolve the disagreement. If no solution is found, you can click the buyer protection button, describe the problem, and submit three pictures to our support team. We will guide you through the process of resolving the issue and determine your eligibility for compensation.
